7th of April 2013. President Rajiv, PP Senake, Nishard and Rohan visited Nikaweratiya for the official opening of the 2 water tanks constructed by the Rotarians. This was initiated by PP Senake and the Australian Counterpart. Rotarians from the RC Nikaweratiya PP CP Tennakoon, MM Thilakaratne, Priyalal, JMS Bandara and MAB Shashi.
The Tanks were "Aluth Wewa" and "Bogaha Wewa"
