Vocational Visit to the Dockyard

A team of around 50 Interactors from the 05 clubs under our purview took part in a visit to the Colombo Dockyard PLC accompanied by 3 – 4 Rotarians. The Management of the Company inclusive of the MD, Mr Mangala Yapa took a keep interest to enlighten the team on all aspects of the working of the Company which is of immense National importance.

Communal Harmony 2012 Kanthankuddy
A group of 67 children and 4 Teachers arrived in Colombo from Batticloa and Kanthankuddy area.
They were taken care by the Rotary Club of Colombo with Interact Clubs of St. Paul's Milagiriya, Royal College and Muslim Ladies College.

3. At Vihara Maha Devi Park
4. Excel World
An annual project where we invite a team of children from the conflict effected areas to visit Colombo . This year’s team consisting of around 60 children came from Katankudy in the Batticoloa district. Accompanied by their teachers and Rotarians , they visited places of interesting Colombo like the Museum, the Zoo, Galle Face and had a tour of Colombo. The finale being a visit to Excel world. The cost of transport, board and lodging was provided by our club. The Interactors from our Club participated very actively during this three day two night event.
