The 2015 meeting was on yesterday, Nov 7, highlighting the
UN’s 70th anniversary and Rotary’s longstanding relationship
with the organization. The program focused on the
Sustainable Development Goals and recognized Rotary
women of action from around the world. The six Global
Women of Action were honored at the event. They addressed
attendees and lead discussions on various topics related to
their work.
Each year, Rotary Day at the United Nations invites more than 1,300 Rotarians including many Rotary International Directors, Foundation Trustees, past Senior Leaders, and guests to come together at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The program is designed to inspire and educate all participants as well as provide insight into the relationship between Rotary International and the United Nations.
