Polio Abu Dhabi

Past Rotary International President K. R. (Ravi) Ravindran is in Abu Dhabi at the last mile to eradication of Polio event. Bill Gates and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi are also at this event. Here is Ravi’s pledge on behalf of Rotary. He requires help to raise the funds.

Channa Goonaratne

We are sad to inform all members that Channa Gooneratne, beloved brother of Rotarian Devika Gooneratne, and husband of Rotarian Thanuja Madawala Gooneratne, passed away suddenly yesterday morning at Apollo Hospital in Colombo. Friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday at 2, Inner Bagatelle Road, Kollupitiya Colombo 3. The cremation will be at 4pm at Borella. Thank you for your messages of love and support.

Fellowship

The fellowship committee has organized the first fellowship event jointly with Rotary Club of Colombo West. Ramada has been doing this almost annually and the food is great. They have blocked the coffee shop completely for us. So please join us for food and fellowship in numbers.
