Bus Library

We are pleased to inform you that our Global Grant Project to donate a Mobile Bus Library to the Tea Leaf Vision School (TLV) in Maskeliya was successfully completed recently and six members from our international partner club The Rotary Club of Margate, D1120 (UK) are in Sri Lanka now for a formal handing over ceremony of the bus library to be held on Friday 9th November, 10.30 am at Maskeliya.

We have specially arranged a bus (free of charge) for members to travel up to Maskeliya for the day to attend the happy occasion and kindly request your participation including spouses in numbers.

Tentative program is as follows

6 am - Bus departs from Colombo
8.30 am - Breakfast stop at Kitulgala rest house
9.30 am - Depart from Kitulgala
11.30 am - Arrive TLV Maskeliya
12.00 pm - Formal Launch of the Mobile Bus Library
1.30 pm - Lunch at TLV
2.30 pm - Visit to a School to participate in a library session?
3.30 pm - Depart Maskeliya
8.30 pm - Arrive in Colombo
