Rotaract President Installation 41st

Installation of the 41st President of the Rotaract Club of Colombo was held at the World Trade Centre 36th Floor on the 24th of July, 2010. “Together we are one”, was the Theme of President Pumika Ranasinghe and the Board shared. Out going President Noorani Muthaliph presented the annual report while Pumika explained her plans for the coming year. Large numbers of Interact members from various clubs were among them. Chief Guest President Rotary Club of Colombo Rtn. Senake Amerasinghe, PP Ruzly Hussain who chartered the Club 41 years ago, Chairman New Generations Samantha Rajapakse, Secretary Rohan and The Guest of Honor was Santhush Weeraman

Dengue Eradication Program in Mattakuliya

Rotary Club of Colombo, Rotary Club of Colombo Mid Town, Interact Club of Muslim Ladies College, Royal College, Rotaract Club of Colombo, Colombo Regent, Public Health Inspectors of Colombo Municipal Council, Students and Teachers of St. John's Vidyalaya Mattakuliya, Razik Fareed Muslim Vidyala, St. Mary's College, Private company employees from Sinwa Show Factory, Abans Human Resource Department were among 45 Groups whom we visited house to house of the area educating the  Danger of the Dengue epidamic. Could be considered a very successful project, 3 Rotarians from Rotary Club namely

were present for the occation which went on till 1 p.m. on  Saturaday17th July, 2010
